We have compiled a summary of everything you need to know about Rubber Ducky. The list below gives answers to some of the FAQs and general information to make your stay even better. If you don’t see the answer to your question you can send us a message or chat

General Information

This is some general information on our amenities and activities. There may be some changes that occur due to the time of year and weather conditions. During the off season there are posts at RubberDuckyBlog.com and on the Off Season Hours page that give details of opening/closing dates as well as off season hours.

  • Opening/Closing – Campsite and cabins will begin opening in April and close in October. Dates will vary based on weather conditions.
  • Reservations – Online reservations are accepted approx. 18 months in advance. We don’t have regular phone hours. We can be reached by text 204-514-6599 or chat from 8am to 9pm during the camping season and most days in the off season. To request a call back send us a text or leave a voicemail and we will get back to you.
  • Guest Portal – Through your Camplife account you will be able to view reservation details, cancel a reservation, or make a payment. You can create an account using the same email address on your reservation. Changes can also be made by email or text.
  • Cancellation Policy – A cancellation fee of $20 will apply to all reservations. When the cancellation is less than 4 days prior to arrival for campsites a charge of the first night will apply. When the cancellation is less than 7 days prior to arrival for cabins/cabin rooms a charge of the first night will apply. Site guarantee fee and any reservation change fees are non refundable. Booking fee will be refunded. If you fail to cancel you will be charged the full amount. Cancellations must be sent by text or email.

Check-In & Rates

  • Check in/out – All accommodations: regular check-in time is after 3 p.m and before 10pm. Campsites check-out time is before 1:00pm. Rooms and Cabins – checkout before 11:00am, but you are welcome to remain at the resort until 1:00pm. Priority check in, after 9:30am and extended checkout, until 9pm options may be added to your reservation, depending on availability. Contact us the day prior to your arrival by email or text 204-514-6599 to check availability. Extra charge of $19.04 per site.
  • Rates – Our rates vary based on the type of site, time of year and day of the week. The rates page will give you a general idea of the cost. You can enter the dates in the online system to get a quote specific to the site type and dates. (adjust each to see variation)
  • Camping/Room Rates include: Access to Pool Area, Ducky Express Rides, Scheduled Activities, Lazy Acres Farm, Catch and Release Trout Fishing, Ducky Pitch N Putt, Mini Golf, Grass bowling, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Free Wifi Hotspot.
  • Rates are based on 4 people per site (age 4 and over). Extra people are $13.00 per person (age 3 & under free). Limit of 10 people per site/cabin.

Accommodations

  • Camping cabin 43 and Loft cabins have space for a sleeping or dining tent. Cabin rooms don’t have space.
  • Sites can have up to 1 trailer and 1 tent or 2 tents. There is no extra charge for the tent.
  • Tent or car camping – We have unserviced (no electric, no water sites) for tenting. There are also some serviced sites that have grassed area to set up a tent. The electrical plugs are the RV style 30 amp plug. You can buy an adaptor to plug in a standard household cord (approx. $10). We do allow car camping.
  • Cabin rooms have Air conditioning and washrooms
  • Group reservations – We don’t offer specific group bookings. Each site or cabin will have its own reservation. You can book multiple spots under your name, then let us know their name if someone else will be checking in (text, email or comment section online).
  • Seasonal Campsites – we currently have a waiting list. Check the camping page for details of rates, seasonal agreement information and form to fill out for the waiting list
  • Storage – Storage compound for RVs, boats, trailers, cars. $30/month $10/week. Winter storage $170

Pools & Recreation

  • 2 Pools and 2 Hot Tubs. The splash Pool includes water umbrella, spray tree, matchstick, Ducky slide and Pirate slide. This pool has stair entry across one end where it is .4m deep and the deepest section is 1.1m. The regular pool is .9m at one end and 1.2m at the other. The regular pool is open and heated from early May until late September. Splash pool is heated mid June – early Sept. Pool area hours 9:00am-10:00pm, they may vary during off season. Hot tubs are open early May until early October.
  • Free Showers – Located in the Rec/Concession building open 24 hours.
  • Modern Washrooms – Located in the Rec/Concession building, by the parking lot and near the West end of the campground by the big play structure open 24 hours.
  • Laundry – Coin op machines accessible 24 hours. Open year round. $1.50/load (1 loonie, 2 quarters).

Food,  Dining & Supplies

  • RDR Grill & Ice Cream – Menu and information is at RDRGrill.com with slushes, ice cream treats, and snacks. – open 9:00am till 10:00pm during the summer season. Off Season hours as posted online. Order online, by text or phone orders to 204-383-0136. Open to the public. Find us on Facebook or Instagram for weekly specials.
  • Camp store – With groceries, snacks, RV supplies etc. Open 9am till 10:00pm during the summer season. Off season hours will be posted online.
  • Firewood available – Dry, seasoned bundles of firewood are readily available for purchase from the Concession. $11/bundle.
  • Propane filling station – May-Sept 11am-7pm; Oct-Apr text 204-383-0136 to check available times. Pay at Concession and then someone will meet you at the filling station. 20lb fill $24.49; 30lb fill $34.49. New tanks are also available to purchase.

Activities & Entertainment

  • Scheduled events – During the camping season we offer a variety of scheduled activities. Theme weekends are usually finalized in February. Each weekend in the camping season we have activities and in July/August we have activities every day. Full listing on our website and weekly schedules in the Concession Building, Facebook, Instagram, and RubberDuckyBlog.com.
  • Lazy Acres Farm – Open daily approx. 11am-9pm. Bags of animal food are available to purchase at the Concession.
  • Ducky Express Train – Travels around the campground during weekends in the off season and daily in the Summer Season. Included with activity wristbands.
  • Trout pond – Stocked with Rainbow Trout. Catch and Release fishing included with activity wristbands. Bring your own equipment.
  • Mini golf – 9 hole course included with wristbands. Clubs available at the Concession or bring your own. Open to the public $3.14/person.
  • Sand Volleyball, Horseshoes, Baseball, Basketball, Ducky Pitch N Putt, Ducky Bowling, Grass Bowling – Equipment available to sign out at the Concession or bring your own. Included with wristbands.
  • 3 Playgrounds – Check the map for locations, included with wristbands.
  • Big Screen in Gazebo Area – Free movies during the camping season. July and August typically one weekday and one weekend movie. Bomber and Jets games also shown when scheduled.
  • Bumper Boats – Open approx. Noon-7pm daily during the Summer Season and weekends off season. $6.90/ride. Kids 44” and under ride free with an adult. Tickets available at the Office or can be added to your reservation.
  • Pool Hall – Coin operated pool table, free shuffleboard table and satellite TV. Sign out the key at office (18+). $5 key deposit. Each pool game is 1 loonie.
  • Games Area – Open 24 hours.
  • Indoor children’s play area – Keep them occupied even in the rain.
  • Seating Area – Surf the web, play cards, or do puzzles.

Rentals

  • Golf Cart Rentals – 4 seater gas golf carts can be rented by the day or weekend. They can be booked through the online reservation system by selecting golf cart from the site type or text/email to add one to an existing reservation. Pick up time is after 3 pm and return by 1pm. Advanced booking is required so that we can have the carts prepped and ready to ride. Hourly rentals may be available to book during the camping season if available.
  • Tiki Hut – A gazebo type building that can be rented for gatherings. Sides can be opened or closed depending on weather and personal preference. Rental period is the full day from 11am-11pm. Book Online or message to add to an existing reservation. When booking online select facility rental as site type.
  • Pizza Oven – Wood fired oven can be rented for $60 (includes wood and use of pizza tools and taxes). Advance booking required, plan to start the fire a couple hours before you are ready to cook. Check Availability here. Book Online or message to add to an existing reservation. When booking online or checking availability, select facility rental under site type. Rental is for the day – tools can be picked up anytime after 11am and returned by 10pm.

Visitors, Pets & Wifi

  • Visitors – guests are allowed during your stay. All visitors must be registered at the Concession. Visitor wristbands must be purchased by the site holder with a current wristband or the site holder must be present while the visitor purchases them. They can be purchased up to 1 day in advance (no refunds) The registered siteholder is responsible for the actions of their visitors. Regular wristbands 4.76 (includes Ducky Express Rides, Scheduled Activities, Lazy Acres Farm, Catch and Release Trout Fishing, Ducky Pitch N Putt, Mini Golf, Grass bowling, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Free Wifi Hotspot,) Pool Wristbands 16.00/person (includes the same as regular plus access to the pool area. Kids age 3 and under are free. Visitors must leave before 10:30pm
  • Pets – Non aggressive pets are allowed. They must be on a leash, picked up after and kept under control. Not permitted in common buildings, pool area, or Lazy Acres walkway. Pets allowed in Cabins and Cabin Rooms with extra charge.
  • Wifi – Free hotspot around Concession/pool area (connect to Rubber Ducky Free). Paid wifi throughout the campground (connect to Rubber Ducky Wifi) 1 hour $.99, 24 hours $2.99, 48 hours $5.99, 168 hours $7.99.

Utilities & Equipment

  • Generators – Allowed during daytime hours.
  • RV Dump Station – Included with camping rates. $15 per dump for non campers.

 

 

 

Information is subject to change. For 2026 we are transitioning to a separate Concession and Campground Office. Check in location and other campground related items will be changing slightly. As details are finalized this information will be updates. There will be signs and prearrival emails with updates as well.
